Privacy Policy

KIROS Music LLC ("KIROS", "we") runs kirosmusic.com. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. Questions go tohello@kirosmusic.com.
What we collect
- Account: your name and email, an encrypted sign-in PIN if you set one, and the devices you trust (a device label, IP address and time).
- Subscription: Stripe handles your payment details. We receive a customer ID, your subscription status and the brand and last four digits of your card, never the full number.
- Listening and activity: what you play and for how long, favorites, playlists, downloads and the licenses they create, and any comments you post.
- Visitors without an account: a device cookie so favorites and playlists work before you sign in. Plays are stored against that device and a scrambled (hashed) form of your IP address.
- Artists: your application, uploads, profile details and any voice recordings you add to your page.
- Server logs: IP addresses and requests, kept for security and troubleshooting.
Why we use it
- To run your account, send your sign-in links and keep it secure.
- To bill your subscription and keep a record of the licenses your downloads create.
- To see what gets played, so we can pay and guide artists and decide what music to add.
- To send messages about your account and subscription.
- To measure whether our advertising works (see below).
We do not sell your personal information.
Advertising measurement
We use Meta's Pixel and Conversions API to learn whether our ads on Facebook and Instagram lead to people signing up or subscribing. Meta receives events such as page views, sign-ups and purchases. Where your email is included, it is hashed before it is sent. You can control how Meta uses this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.
Who else handles your data
- Stripe, which processes payments.
- Meta, for the ad measurement described above.
- Our hosting provider, which runs the servers the site lives on. Our emails are sent from our own server.
- For artists only: OpenAI receives song titles and descriptions to generate cover art, and Deepgram receives voice recordings to produce transcripts.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms from forgery, remember your device and trusted devices, and finish sign-in when you open a link on another device. Meta's Pixel sets its own cookie to measure ads.
How long we keep it
We keep account data while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your personal details but keep license records and billing records, because they prove what you are licensed to use and because tax law requires them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or ask us to stop processing it, by emailing hello@kirosmusic.com. Depending on where you live, including California and the European Union, you may have further rights under local law, and we will honor them.
Children
KIROS is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Security
Sign-in uses single-use links and encrypted PINs, the site runs over HTTPS, and card details never reach our servers.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will email account holders before it takes effect.
