Terms of Service

KIROS Music LLC ("KIROS", "we") runs kirosmusic.com. These terms cover your use of the site, your account and any subscription. What you may do with music you download is covered by the License Agreement, and how we handle your information by the Privacy Policy.

1. Your account

KIROS has no passwords. We email you a single-use sign-in link, and you can set a PIN for devices you trust. Keep your email account secure, because anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You are responsible for what happens on your account. You must be 18, or the age of majority where you live, to subscribe, and the site is not for children under 13.

2. Subscriptions and billing

• A subscription costs the price shown at checkout, currently $20 a month, charged in advance each month until you cancel.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. When Stripe sells to you as the merchant of record through Link, their terms also apply to that payment, and your receipt will say so. Tax is added where the law requires it.
• You can cancel any time from your billing page. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for.
• We do not refund partial months, except where the law requires us to.
• If we change the price, we will email you at least 30 days before it applies to you.

3. Downloads

Tracks you download during an active subscription are licensed to you under theLicense Agreement, and those licenses continue after you cancel. Streaming on the site is for listening and choosing music, not for use in your projects.

4. Using the site fairly

Please do not:

• Scrape the site or download the catalog in bulk with automated tools.
• Share your account with people outside your organization.
• Get around watermarks, access controls or download limits.
• Upload anything you do not have the rights to.
• Use the site to break the law or to harm other people.

5. Artists who publish on KIROS

• You confirm that you own or control every right in what you upload, including the song, the lyrics and the recording, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
• If you used AI music tools, you confirm your plan with those tools allows commercial use and licensing of what you made, for example that the work was created on a paid plan that grants commercial rights.
• You give KIROS a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, stream and promote your published music, and to license it to subscribers under the License Agreement. Licenses already granted to subscribers continue if you later unpublish a track.
• Payouts and splits are set out in your separate arrangement with KIROS.

6. Ownership

The site and its design belong to KIROS. The music belongs to KIROS or to the artists who made it. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

7. Closing an account

You can close your account by emailing hello@kirosmusic.com. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Licenses you obtained within these terms stay valid after an account closes.

8. No guarantees

We work to keep KIROS running well, but the site is provided as it is, without warranties beyond the promise in the License Agreement. We may change or remove features, and music may be added or taken down.

9. Limits on liability

As far as the law allows, KIROS is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we will email you at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use KIROS after that means you accept the new terms.
